Heavy Lungs – All Gas No Brakes
I had the opportunity to design the complete vinyl package for British rock band Heavy Lungs’ album All Gas No Brakes. This was my first time creating a full vinyl package, including a removable OBI strip that wraps around the outside of the vinyl, displaying the album title, band name, and track listing.
The photography used on the front and back covers was provided to me, and I had the freedom to get creative from there. I decided to keep the front image unchanged, as I felt it stood as an iconic piece of art on its own. For the back cover, I manipulated the imagery to add a sense of movement and chaos to the boxer.
In addition to the vinyl, I was also responsible for designing the CD packaging.
